The players in the gaming industry have joined forces on a board to deal with complaints about advertisements from gambling operators
The name is Gambling Advertising Board, and the board is being administrated by the business and employer organization HORESTA.
It is possible to complain about advertisements from gambling operators to an official body.
In the summer of 2019, the players in the gaming industry agreed on a code of conduct for the entire gaming industry. With the establishment of the Gambling Advertising Board, this constructive collaboration will be continued.
The ambition in the gaming industry is that the industry together can create a better marketing culture, increased self-justice and common guidelines.
The Gambling Advertising Board is sought to be composed of representatives of consumers, therapists of gambling addiction, experts and the industry itself. The aim is to have a judge appointed as chairman of the board.
