Spilreklamenævnet receives, processes, and issues statements on complaints regarding gambling marketing.
The board was established following the ‘Code of Conduct for Socially Responsible Marketing of Gambling’, developed by industry associations within the gambling sector. The purpose of the board is to uphold the ethical rules agreed upon in the Code of Conduct. Spilreklamenævnet was created based on inspiration from and follows the same model as the well-established Alkoholreklamenævn.
Spilreklamenævnet consists of representatives from the gambling industry and representatives advocating for gambling consumers. The board is chaired by an independent judge.
